Description:

A polychrome drinking cup decorated with black leaf and

  geometric devices on a cream slip. Line decoration is somewhat reminiscent of some of ancient Anasazi decorations. Inside of the cup as well as the underside are painted red.
   
Condition: Very good condition. Minor paint chips mostly in the upper
  portion and the rim. The underside has two pencil marks.
   
Provenance: (1) Private collection of Dr. Jan M. Bohonek, Mentor, Ohio.
  (2) Private estate. The original owner purchased this piece in
        the early 1980’s while traveling the Southwest.
