FINE ART
We offer a wide selection American and European fine
works of art, as well as works from many other countries from around the
world. This consists of paintings, works on paper, sculpture and
occasionally other media.
Our focus has been on 19th and 20th
century American art, but earlier works and contemporary art are
represented, as well.
Our European collection includes old master works,
namely works on paper dating from the 15th through 18th
century, and again, miscellaneous works from 19th century to
contemporary in various media.

ANTIQUES
Our Antiques Gallery
draws from a worldwide spectrum, including Americana, especially associated with the Western Frontier, tying
onto our Native American collection.
ANTIQUITIES
Our Antiquities gallery also draws from
cultures worldwide. It consists of artifacts and art objects from
the Pre-historic period and the Ancient world, primarily the
Pre-classical and Classical Mediterranean and Near East. In the
Americas, it includes the Prehistoric and Pre-Columbian periods.
For the sake of simplifying overlapping
dates and the number of gallery subsections, the Antiquities gallery
also includes the MEDIEVAL period, up to about the fall of the
Byzantine Empire in 1453A.D. Items after this date are listed in the
Antiques gallery.
ETHNOGRAPHIC ART
This gallery presents mainly 20th
century and some 19th century art of African and Pacific
cultures.
