A very finely shaped bronze dagger with beautiful green patina |

from ancient Luristan. The dagger is cast in one piece. The
handle insets, now long lost, would have once been made of carved
ivory and possibly even inlayed with gold.
The dagger bears catalogue number HG 1616 (Haig Galleries
collection number) on one side of the handle. |
