Rectangular temple roof tile depicting a feeding
waterfowl (in white |

and ochre glaze) standing in water and surrounded by water
lilies (in rich green glaze). |

Chipped left vertical border and upper right
corner, but not |

effecting the overall appeal of the tile. Vertical crack in bird
neck area (result of removing tile from roof) is skillfully
restored. Horizontal surface crack through bird’s lower extremities
occurred during the original process of firing the ceramic. |
